For over 20 years I’ve been creating portraits in the streets of London - not candid, not stolen - but built through presence and interaction.
In this workshop, I show you exactly how I do it.
 
How to:

• Recognise a subject with presence.

• Approach confidently.

• Use conversation as subtle direction.

• Control background and context.

• Execute calmly.

• We meet in Soho, Camden or Brick Lane.

• I demonstrate a live approach.

• Then you approach and photograph three strangers yourself.

• We review and refine your results together.
